Road cycling
One of the cast iron pumps from Stettin. They are also called “Berliners” because of their similarity to the pumps in Berlin, but the Szczecin coat of arms is a griffin (a bear in German). The pumps are well cared for: neatly painted and clean.

Cast-iron pumps are an inseparable element of the Szczecin street landscape. Most still work!
There are about 100 in Szczecin, and 28 are historic. They can be recognized by the Szczecin coat of arms, a crown or a flame crowning the entire pump, and the head of a dragon from which water flows.
Colloquially called "berlinki" due to their similarity to pumps in Berlin, which have a German bear instead of the Szczecin Griffin.
