The path is OK for bikes, but there are worse. But please make sure you have puncture-proof tires; there are thorns along the path. The last 100 meters at the very top can be flooded after rain. The only solution is to ride slowly, which usually works because the ground is firm. Alternatively, turn left beforehand.
