I cannot recommend the Etschtal cycle path - straight ahead, if you are unlucky, nasty headwind, mostly the motorway on one side, the Etsch itself can only be seen sometimes, but the cycle path leads along a concrete and fenced canal for long stretches. To make a route and as a training for racing cyclists ok, but if you are looking for beautiful, varied landscapes, you should better drive elsewhere.
