The Medieval Bridge is located to the southeast of the center of Sant Martí near the Pont mill, crossing the Gavarresa creek. It is a beautiful and robust bridge about 25 meters long with a massive central pillar and two eyes. The bridge passage, with paved pavement, has a width of 180 centimeters and is delimited by low railings. There are traces of stone wear due to the continuous passage of carriages.

The bridge was the Gavarresa crossing on the old road from Sant Martí d'Albars to Perafita. Old rural road that came from Vic and cinder road, along which they transported the ash from the coal mines that were made in the municipality to the Vic tanneries.
