Sant Boi de Lluçanès is a town and municipality in the Lluçanès region, although it is administratively attached to that of Osona. It is located at the north-east end of the Luçanenca, and to the north-west of the Osonenca.

In 1782 there were 180 houses and 800 inhabitants, reaching a maximum of 1043 people in 1860. Currently the population census is 532 people.
