It is a baroque style building built in 1682. This church replaced the old Romanesque church that occupied the same place. It has a single nave with side chapels and a polygonal head. The church was built with materials from the Vilamacolum quarries and underwent restorations throughout its history, including a significant restoration between 1989 and 1992.
