The Cima di Piazzo, at an altitude of 2,057 metres, is a mountain behind the Piani di Artavaggio. Reachable from the Nicola and Cazzaniga-Merlini refuges with a walk of about 30 minutes, the path goes up the steep grassy ridge with some exposed sections. Ability to navigate the mountains is required.
