A wonderful place where you can hardly stop being amazed. The attention to detail of the numerous sculptures made of natural materials is remarkable, you feel like you are in a small open-air museum. This is definitely not the last time I have been here. A highlight that truly deserves the term 'highlight'.

Hiking

The old basalt quarry is probably the most enchanting stop on the Holzburg nature and culture trail. Long since closed and filled with water, a beautiful biotope has developed here. The owner has ensured that human visitors feel at home alongside elves, fairies and goblins. With heartfelt dedication, countless seats were created from old tree trunks. Pictures and sculptures were made from wood. A truly magical place has been created here - thank you Paul!
