Tips
The first "fire station" was built in the second half of the 18th century. In 1897, a five-meter-high hose tower was added, which was raised to ten meters in the 1930s. The building had a guard room and a detention cell. At night, unwelcome guests or "travellers" who had found no other place to stay were housed here.(Source: information board on the building)
