The municipality of Kitzeck im Sausal is located in the Sulmtal Sausal and belongs to the Leibnitz district and thus to the southern Styria region. At 564 m above sea level, Kitzeck im Sausal is the highest wine-growing community in the country. When the weather is crystal clear, you can see all of southern Styria and parts of eastern Styria.
