A very beautiful baroque ensemble perched on a mountain spur. At the end of World War II, the atomic cellar was located beneath the castle church, where renowned German physicists like Heisenberg conducted atomic research using uranium. The Americans wanted to blow it up after the war. Fortunately, this was prevented; otherwise, Haigerloch would be deprived of such an impressive cultural monument today. If you have time, you should definitely take a look inside the castle church.
