Wurfeld Castle (also: Wurfeld Castle) is a castle in the Maaseik hamlet of Wurfeld, at Kapelweg 60.

The building was founded around 1640 by the brothers Willem and Jacob Croll, who were at the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwe chapter in Maaseik. They founded the chapel of St. Lawrence and built a two-storey moat house on a vaulted basement. This became the core of the current castle. The castle and chapel were not expropriated during the French period and remained in the possession of the parish of Maaseik. In 1840 the castle was sold to a private individual and in 1900 it was extended by the then lord of the castle Ludovic Nagels. In 1913 and 1938 extensions in eclectic style followed by residents Stéphanie Nagels and Adelin de Fraipont. The castle was called Sans Souci. In the tower there is another gable stone with the Croll family coat of arms from the old St. Lawrence Chapel. In one of the rooms there is also a fireplace from the original residence, with the inscription: Rara est concordia fratuum (rare is the unity between brothers)

In front of the castle there is a 2.5 ha old park with some old trees and a drive to the Kapelweg.

In 1640 the two brothers Willem and Jacob Croll built the San Lorenzo chapel and the Wurfeld Castle. The first building consisted of two floors, a vaulted cellar and a moat. These elements still form the core of the building today. There is a plaque in the tower with the Croll family coat of arms.
