Lake Superiore di Viso is one of the four alpine lakes located at the foot of Monviso in the municipality of Crissolo. Together with the other neighboring lakes, it is reached by the Giro dei laghi, an excursion itinerary in the municipality of Crissolo that starts from Pian del Re. The lake takes this name because it is located at a higher altitude than the other lakes in the area.
