Bishorst is a village that sunk in the Elbe floods in 1745 in the Vordeichland near Haselau-Hohenhorst, which was the spiritual center of the Haseldorfer Marsch in the Middle Ages. The preserved avenue of ash trees and the view of the Haseldorfer Binnenelbe are worth seeing.
