Watch out, little wonder! At high tide, at least. Pont Roux beach is located below an important archaeological site: Yaudet, a former Gallic and then Gallo-Roman fortress. The sandy area is reduced but tiny creeks all around and the low water level still allow you to find a small corner. The view of the Bay of the Virgin is magnificent, but the steepness of the valley does not allow optimal sunshine. It's better in the second half of the day. The collection of the beach also produces a very characteristic and familiar acoustic resonance. You feel like in a cocoon. At low tide, the space widens significantly. Be careful, fishing on foot is uncertain because it is often prohibited here.
