Only a road embankment connects the port of Aså with the town, which is around one kilometer away. Houses standing between dunes and a child-friendly, flat sandy beach characterize the offshore peninsula, where a few years ago there was only a fishing port.

The idyllic port of Asaa is located on a small peninsula, which can be reached via a drivable causeway. There is usually plenty of parking along the port.
The adjacent coast is known for being regularly patrolled by sea trout.
