We hiked the stairs on May 31st. There were beautiful views on the way up—even if some people feel the need to throw their trash into the corners. The whole thing would be so much more beautiful without the trash.
Kudos to the people selling chilled(!) drinks in the last third and at the very top. There's no elevator or cable car to transport the equipment there.
We wouldn't want to hike the trail in the rain—the stones next to the stairs are very slippery.
