The Artemeersmolen on the border of Poeke and Kanegem was built in 1810. It is a round stone windmill built on an artificial hill. From 1935 to 1975, a diesel engine powered the mechanical mill.

For a short period, the mill was first used as a restaurant and then as a private residence. The restoration of the mill dates from 1975-1976. From 2014, the mill was taken into operation as a supplier to bakeries, for which the grinding installation was significantly expanded.
