The estate in Öttershausen was not established here until the end of the 16th century.
From the mid-1980s, the complex stood empty and was left to decay.
Only the preserved Schütt and Winkelbau are still classified as a monument. Due to the progressive decay, parts of the ceiling on the second floor collapsed in June 2020.
