The Pulpit with High Ceilings is one of six spectacular works that will combine art, nature and local life around the upcoming Skjern Å National Park.

The sculpture The Pulpit with High Ceilings was created by artist Bjørn Kromann-Andersen and is located in Skjern Enge by King Hans Bridge at the end of Petersmindevej. The sculpture itself is made of corten steel and will develop a rusty red color over time, playing nicely with the grassy green meadows.

The idea behind the sculpture is that there are "high ceilings" in the flat West Jutland landscape. The great celestial space therefore invites both enthusiasm and devotion, for in contrast to the canopied pulpit, the great celestial space is located above the pulpit of the sculpture.

From the pulpit there is space to announce your message or just enjoy the silence. The pulpit offers space for many possibilities.

The flat back of the sculpture reads "Everything has a back", which may refer to the human back or an unknown and perhaps unanswered side.
