The Galgenberg is about 1 km outside of the town of Wildendürnbach and consists of 184 press houses and wine cellars.
The name goes back to a gallows that was on this mountain until 1828. Today, the 256 m high Galgenberg is known above all for its excellent wines, 40 hectares of vineyards are cultivated around the Galgenberg.
A church tower without a church watches over the cellar lane on the summit of the "Golingbiri".
The Galgenberg was voted "Kellergasse of the Year 2013"!
