The parish church of St. Jakob in Falkenstein is located in the midst of idyllic vineyards, at the foot of the imposing Falkenstein castle ruins. The church shines in the style of the early baroque and is consecrated to James the Elder. The interior design is as impressive as its external appearance.
Pilgrim enthusiasts can look forward to the landmark of the Jakobskirche inside the church - a Gothic Madonna made of sandstone and a rare depiction of the Holy Trinity above the high altar.
