Fouillouse is a small, slender hamlet nestled at an altitude of 1,900 meters, in a picturesque valley drained by the Baragne. The hamlet is a beautiful gateway for explorers wishing to venture into the Ubaye massif. Remarkably, Fouillouse is known as the hamlet of Abbé Pierre, where his grandfather was from.
In the heart of the village you will find the Granges gîte, refuge, bar and restaurant to spend a night or have lunch.

Great starting point for hikes.
The road up is very narrow, but there are some alternatives. The car park is usually full in the season.
