Tips
A natural paradise in the middle of the city of Telgte. Species-rich meadows, natural forests and a beautiful meadow landscape along the Ems offer pure relaxation. The Emsauenpark also has two interesting ground monuments: The "Napoleon's hill" is the remains of an unfinished bridge construction over the Ems from the beginning of the 19th century. The "motte" is a floor fragment of a medieval fortification.
Also worth seeing are the old Telgt Way of the Cross, which runs north of the park, and a burial mound reconstructed in 2004, which indicate the Bronze Age settlement along the Ems.translated by
