Enjoy some peace and tranquillity as you trail along the serene River Dee. This river rises in the Cairngorms and flows 81 miles through Aberdeenshire and eventually out to the North Sea at Aberdeen.

There are some fantastic views on offer along this stretch of walking, so bring a picnic, take a seat on the banks, and watch the world go by.

Quiet rough path easily followed along the river from the Garthdee shops or RGU. Easy escape from the middle of the city.
