From this small hill you have a good view of the foothills of the Wapta Icefield and the Bow Glacier Falls. The Plateau Glacier spans the Waputik Mountains into British Columbia and lies on the Continental Divide. Due to climate change, the glacier tongues in particular are losing size and thickness.
