Ghost Tower, Cin Kule, is located on the seafront in the Karacami district on a hill and is the oldest building in the city. It dates from the 13th century and was built by Genoese crusaders. In 1577 it was rebuilt and surrounded by a wall; Cannons were placed at each of the four corners.
