A dilapidated chapel and a few graves on a overgrown hill are all that is left of the estate of the Von Poser family who owned Węgrów village from 1741 up until the end of WWII. It included a palace destroyed in 1945, probably by the advancing Red Army. The chapel is the resting place of five members of the family with Ida Von Poser the last one interred in 1942.
