The park is called Burgemeester Bergerpark.
The Burgemeester Bergerpark is an insider tip in Venlo. Before the renovation in 1998, Bergerpark was a traditional city park with neat lawns, trees and bushes. The stream 't Rienke' has flowed through the park since the beginning. This small canal was dug by the Spanish a long time ago. Now it is responsible for draining rainwater. During the redesign in 1998, a second stream was created in the park. The spring water from the areas behind it is collected there and runs visibly through the park into the 'Rijnbeek' at different heights.
