Historical curiosity: this trail partially overlaps with old routes used by the first settlers and foresters to transport timber from the forest to nearby Police. The greatest secret of the area is the Gunica river itself – a reserve protecting habitats for water birds and beavers, which forms deep, inaccessible swamps along this section.
