Praia da Aguda is a wild beach with no support or surveillance services. Its main access, a staircase with 230 steps, is in precarious condition due to the instability of the cliffs. It is frequented by naturists and fishermen, despite being classified as a "suspended beach" by the Portuguese Environment Agency due to the risk of landslides and falling rocks. The beach is accessible by public transport from Lisbon.
