The listed oldest preserved farm in the village of Heek, the so-called "Eppingsche Hof", whose structure dates back to 1857, was expanded into a community center in 1990. The excellent location of the former farm with a long historical tradition in the middle of the village and within sight of the parish church is predestined for this. Many clubs and associations from Heek and the surrounding area make intensive use of the premises in the Eppingschen Hof. The home and rifle club St. Ludgerus Heek and the music club Heek have found their permanent home there.
