If you don't feel like the inclines or the road traffic to Böingsen and the Ebberg on your way towards Eisborn, the "Waldpassage Bremke - Retringen" might be an alternative. The incline is not too steep and the gravel forest path is easy to ride on a trekking bike. At the level of the last farm in the Lürbke/Bremke there is a sign that it is a dead end, but this only applies to motor vehicles. The bridge over the "Kalkofensiepen" is closed to motor vehicles with concrete obstacles. However, enough space has been left between the obstacles for hikers and cyclists. Once you have reached the barrier, you have a great view of Brockhausen. There is still one downside, the last 300 m or so from the barrier to the country road are not easy to drive due to the rather coarse gravel. If you want to go to the Sorpesee or to Eisborn, turn left onto the country road (Hüstener Straße) and follow it to the crossroads in the village of Oelinghauser Heide or to the junction to Eisborn.
