Starting point of the Rando Imperator... a brevet from Munich to Ferrara over 650km non-stop along the Via Claudia Augusta, a trade route built by the Romans 2000 years ago, today with many asphalted sections. Away from the main roads you cycle from Munich via Garmich Partenkirchen, the Fernpass, Rechenpass, then Meran, Bozen, past Lake Garda into the Po Valley to Ferrara.
