Urzig sundial
The Ürziger sundial is one of the oldest sundials on the Moselle with a Roman dial. It is a vertical sundial with a flat face and a pole positioned parallel to the Earth's axis. The Ürziger sundial faces south and is located in the immediate vicinity of the B 53 down the Moselle at the end of Ürzig. The true Ürziger local time (WOZ) is displayed, which lags behind Central European Time (CET) by around 32 minutes.
