As a memorial to fishermen, a bronze monument was erected on the green area in front of the town hall.
in 1971 during the Sea Festival, K. Kisiel's sculpture "Fisherman" was erected in front of the former town hall. Previously, in 1907, it stood on this place. the monument of Borusia, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the victory over Napoleon. The Borusia monument is sometimes called a national monument - Klaipėda was the only Prussian city not occupied by Napoleon's army.
