Hiking

The castle was probably built by the Lewenstein family. In 1689 the castle was destroyed in the Palatinate War of Succession.

A path leads to the quite overgrown castle hill with the remains of a tower. The walls of a two-story palas (hall building) rise directly on the dirt road, but it has grown in considerably.

Mountain biking

There are only a few remains of this castle to see and unfortunately you can only ride your bike along the dirt road on one side. I think you can walk up to the adjacent hill to have a better view. Worth a detour if you are already very close, but probably not to drive there. In the video at 19: 34-20: 56
