A chapel dedicated to St. Mauritius is mentioned as early as the 14th century. The lower floors of the choir tower date from this period. Its loopholes prove that it belonged to a fortified church. The choir, i.e. H. the ground floor was vaulted in 1524. The top floor, which houses the belfry, and the eight-sided, slated, pointed helmet were only added later. The galleries on three sides were drawn into the nave in 1624. The coats of arms of the Seckendorff family are applied to their parapets. The pulpit dates from the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries. However, the parapet and the sound cover were renewed. The baptismal font was created around 1700.
