Hiking

The Kollau is a stream in northern Hamburg, almost eight kilometers long. It rises in the Schnelsen district, flows through Niendorf and Lokstedt, and empties into the Tarpenbek at the border with Groß Borstel. The Kollau hiking trail runs alongside the stream for its entire length; from the Niendorfer Gehege (Niendorf Game Reserve) onward, the tracks of the Hamburg freight bypass railway also run alongside it.
