The Frisian North Sea is the region of seafarers and shipping still plays an important role on the North Sea. You can experience this not only in the big port cities like Wilhelmshaven or Bremerhaven, the cozy little fishing villages like Hooksiel or Horumersiel also offer a variety of opportunities to go out on the water yourself. The marina in Horumersiel with 150 berths is home to 3 sports boat clubs. Boats up to 12 meters in length find their summer berth here. The landing stage for the excursion steamer "Jens Albrecht" and a lifeboat of the DGzRS are also located here. The port can be reached from the sea via a Prickenweg (therefore no lock passage is necessary). Each pitch has its own electricity and water supply.
