The route via Oedeme is perfect for cycling. The road surface is excellent, and the traffic is manageable. The bike path (as of 2024) has been newly constructed and is great for cycling! – this also applies out of town to Heiligenthal – towards Rettmer... I would use the road from the junction with a racing bike...
