A quaint kiosk with innovative "tables" and matching seating. Perhaps a bit noisy on the street, but there's a larger tent in the private garden where you can also enjoy your drink in the dry. Truly lovely!

Due to the spring of the same name, tapped in 1857, the area experienced an eventful history in the past: fish ponds are known from the beginning, then a manor was built and in 1859 a waterworks was put into operation. The water was used by breweries, garden centers and the municipal slaughterhouse. Today it provides valuable service as process water for the Deutschherrnviertel. The area of the 2.8-hectare park has been owned by the City of Frankfurt am Mair since 1842 and has been a public park since 1911.
