Just outside of the Boston's Old City Hall stands a statue of a donkey. Also known as the Democratic Donkey, it was found by preservationist Roger Webb in an antique market in Florence, was placed in front of Boston's Old City Hall in 1998. A pair of footprints with imprints of elephants, to represent the the Republican Party, was added later.
