One of the most rustic snack stations with homemade cakes, coffee and consistently warm, home-style cooking is the Bergcafe Milchhäusle in Pfronten.
Mountain hikers are particularly rewarded with the wonderful view of the Frey-Eisenberg castles, the Falkenstein castle ruins and, above all, the majestic peaks of the Pfronten mountains.
The small inn is a welcome place to rest. Those who like it cozy and dignified can enjoy the great view of the Zugspitze massif from the sun terrace of the Bergcafe. The surrounding mountains seem close and yet out of reach.
