The historical path once led over this Emmer bridge and then - not the country road to Löwensen but - to the east over the gravel path to the railway bridge that no longer exists and through a ravine up the Kerbtal to the "Kirschenweg" to Gellersen, through which an old postal route led (via Hämelschenburg to Hameln - today the "Niedersachsenweg"). The ramp and the one head of the bridge next to the tracks can still be seen; the low bridge got in the way of electrification.
