The old church next to the castle was used by the Protestant and Catholic Church until the beginning of the 20th century. Congregation used for all services. Today it also belongs equally to the Catholic Church. and protestant parish. The most sought-after architect for sacred buildings at the time, Adolph Gaudy, created the plans for the imposing church built in 1911-1913. The floor plan is in the form of a Latin cross. The parish church - dedicated to John the Baptist - underwent extensive restoration both inside and out in 1991/1992. The wide, spacious interior invites you to quiet contemplation.
