The Sonnenweg is a panoramic path through newly created corridors in Wolpertswende.

Enjoy light and warmth

In the course of the land consolidation Wolpertswende a new path in the environment of the ecologically very valuable Dornacher and Wolpertswender Riedes emerged. The view leads down into the sun-drenched Schussental and, with a clear Föhn view, deep into the Allgäu and Swiss Alps. The Sonnenweg is a circular hiking trail, which you can enter at any point. On the information wall in the center of Wolpertswende you can easily get an overview of the route.

As a starting point, however, offers the information board in the center of Wolpertswende. Follow the sun symbol on our hiking trail signage. On 13 boards you will learn all about the sun and its meaning for any life on our planet. Walk through the gifted Upper Swabian natural and cultural landscape, feel the warmth and absorb the different light situations of the 150 million kilometers distant sun.

Enjoy an overwhelming, sun-drenched panorama and learn more about the sun. The Sonnenweg can also be explored by bike.
