Elizabeth of Thuringia (1207-1231), also known as Elizabeth of Hungary, was a daughter of the Hungarian King Andrew II. Through her marriage, she became the Landgravine of Thuringia. As a Landgravine, she pursued the Franciscan ideal of piety. Her life was dedicated to charity. The Catholic Church commemorates her on November 17.
