  • Grindstugan (also Bomstugan) is a former gatehouse on the grounds of Drottningholm Palace in Lovön, Stockholm County. The house, located at the western end of the winding avenue, was built in 1846-1847 according to plans by the architect Per Axel Nyström or possibly Fredrik Wilhelm Scholander. Grindstugan has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991. The building is a state monument owned and managed by the State Property Authority. The house is now used as a summer residence.
