The Tranco reservoir or also popularly known as El Tranco de Beas is a reservoir located in the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas Natural Park, northeast of the province of Jaén, Spain. It is one of the largest reservoirs in Spain whose construction began in 1929 and its work was completed in 1944. A town was created nearby to house the workers involved in its construction. Today its inhabitants are workers of the Guadalquivir Hydrographic Confederation, Endesa and the descendants of former employees.
